I see jewels when walking through forests. Nature’s colour, it’s architecture and quiet energy have such influence on my design and in the story-telling of the fine jewellery I create. I see a jewel as a miniature sculpture; if its line, form and colour flow uninterrupted, it truly sings.
When you have the luxury of time to lose yourself in the creative flow that is design, you discover the most exciting aspect of being a creative, uniqueness. I then seek to elevate that individuality and push, stretch and play out the design process through a myriad of pencil strokes and inspirations, seeing what form and delights result. And once that beautiful, considered jewel is created and worn, the strength and energy of the design and form pass to its wearer and is rendered complete.
