Terms and Conditions


  1.  When you visit our site as a browser, or to complete a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any point, and you agree to be bound by the most recent updated version of them.

  2. We are a designer-owned business in New Zealand. Therefore any purchasers made via our website are governed by New Zealand law.

  3. We sell to individual customers and we also supply to businesses. If you are buying items from us to on-sell as part of your business, we require you to contact us at the email address: enquire@aliceherald.com.

  4. We design all of our jewellery ourselves, therefore any duplication, copying, or reproduction of any of the items showing on our website in any shape or form is strictly prohibited.

  5. All references to amounts are in New Zealand dollars.

  6. Any taxes and duties are the responsibility of the purchaser. We take no responsibility for any delay in the processing of your purchase should local taxes or duties be applied.


  7. The cost of shipping is included in the total cost of your purchase.

  8. Most items are custom crafted so please enquire for a delivery time. Orders received before midday will include that day in the delivery time. There is a longer delivery time for rural addresses and international deliveries. International delivery times are dependent on the delivery method as selected by us. The delivery of tailored or made to order items is subject to the time required to undertake the work involved and usually take a few days longer than unaltered / non-custom pieces.


  9. We accept returns in some circumstances. Please check our returns policy as set out below to see if a return and full refund is available in your circumstances. You will need to include your receipt with any returns.

  10. Before returning any item(s), email enquire@aliceherald.com and tell us why you wish to return the item(s). We will confirm whether we will accept the return. We will also confirm the address to which the return is to be sent and the method of shipping.

  11. We do not accept returns on items that have been tailored specifically for you at your request or are made to order.

  12. We do not accept returns on items with a purchase price of $20,000.00 or more.

  13. For full price items purchased online under $20,000.00 the following return options are available within the 14 days return window:

    • Full refund
    • Exchange
    • Credit note for the value of the item(s)

  14. For sale items purchased online under $20,000.00 the following return options are available within the 14 days return window:

    • Exchange
    • Credit note for the value of the item(s)

  15. We will not refund, exchange, or provide credit notes for item(s) where:

    • The item(s) has been worn, altered or damaged after purchase
    • The item(s) is not re-packaged in its original packaging or the original packaging is damaged
    • The item(s) tags have been removed or damaged (if applicable)
    • The item(s) has not been returned within 14 working days of our confirmation that we will accept the return
    • The receipt for the item(s) is not included

  16. You pay the shipping costs for returning any item(s) to us. All returns must be sent by courier and must have adequate insurance to cover the full purchase price of the item(s). If we do not received the item(s) or we receive item(s) that have been damaged in transit, you will not receive a refund, exchange, or credit note.


  17. If you wish to cancel an online order email enquire@aliceherald.com and tell us you wish to cancel. Please include your name, details of your order and the reason for cancellation. Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order provided if it is a stock item and has not been shipped. If the item has been tailored for you, made to order, or has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
